Social Phobia

A fear of being accepted by people, or feeling embarrassed and self conscious even with friends is called a social phobia. This is common among young people who are developing their sense of identity, but many talk about being shy or feeling awkward in company. If you dread going to parties or meeting new people, then you might well have a social phobia. Hypnotherapy could help you develop a new confidence about yourself in relation to others.

Since my last session with you I was at a conference. When they asked for questions from the floor, I was the first to put up my hand! I asked a couple of questions in a packed conference hall to the senior staff on the platform. It felt completely natural and I haven’t looked back since, I would never have done that before we worked together.
